Will The Weather In Killeen, Texas Be Rainy For Easter?

Happy Easter, Killeen, Texas. Our babies are getting ready for Easter egg hunts, decorating Easter baskets, and let’s not forget the delicious Easter dinner. Even though we’ve all been anticipating Easter Sunday, the real question is due to the weather, will we be looking forward to beautiful blue skies, or will we have to stay indoors this joyous weekend?

WILL CENTRAL TEXAS GET TO ENJOY EASTER SUNDAY?

Here's some good news.

Our weather partners at KWTX-TV say there's a 20% chance of rain in our area Saturday morning, and a 13% chance Sunday. Easter morning lows are expected to be in the low 50s, but should warm up to the low 70s Sunday afternoon with partly cloudy skies.

WHAT ARE THE OPTIONS IF THERE IS RAIN ON EASTER SUNDAY?

If you’re looking for events to be had on Saturday, more than likely they’ve already been canceled. The City of Killeen Easter egg hunt, for example, was called off. However, that doesn’t mean our babies should miss out on Easter egg hunting. You can always put the eggs around the house for them to find, then eat chocolate bunnies together while you watch a nice Easter movie. I know my family and I will be watching Peter Rabbit either way it goes.
