Another blast of cold weather is on its way to the great state of Texas, according to Fox Seven Austin. It’s not just your typical "grab-your-big-puffy-coat" weather coming to Texas. It will still be chilly enough to need a jacket, with temperatures expected to reach the high 50s. Later in the evening, temperatures are forecasted to drop to the low 30s. Below-freezing temperatures usually mean it's colder than the point at which water turns into ice, which is 32°F.

COLD WEATHER IS ON ITS WAY TO TEXAS, ARE YOU READY FOR SNOW?

Texas is still experiencing high 60s, so where is this Arctic freeze coming from? According to officials, the Arctic front will blast through Central Texas over the weekend. If you have any plans, I would personally suggest postponing them until the weekend is over. North Texas already received its share of snow almost two weeks ago, so it's possible that Central Texas could also experience freezing temperatures.

Grab that big coat, Texas, it may be a doozy!
