Every Saturday at Chief's Sports Grill in Killeen is amazing, but this past Saturday was off the chain. Chief's put on one of the biggest and best Back to the 90's parties, and everyone from the staff to yours truly dressed the part and showed up in 90's gear.

I grew up in the '90s. That was the decade I graduated from high school and entered college, so I have so may great memories to take away from that era in which I was really getting out on my own.

Musically, what will always stick with me is listening to East Coast Hip-Hop acts like A Tribe Called Quest, Public Enemy, Notorious BIG , Tupac, NWA, and Outkast, to name just a few.

Of course, R&B was big then too with legendary acts like Boyz to Men, SWV, TLC, Bobby Brown, Montell Jordan, Xscape, Brandy, and Lauryn Hill, and the list goes on and on.

Needless to say, I had a ball going back into time with Chief's to a point in my life when I was young without a care in the world. I definitely wasn't adulting like I am now.

As nice as it is to reflect on the past, we've got to live in the present get excited about the great times ahead, and there's plenty to look forward to at Chief's this weekend. We'll be right there with you.

Thursday Night is the Livest Karaoke Night in Killeen. You'll get free entry before 11 PM with DJ Junior Vibes and Trey the Choklit Jok. The party kicks off at 9 PM with grown folks having a good time - no drama.

Friday Night is the weekly Fri-yay! Turn Up with DJ Kay Smoove starting at 9 PM with free entry before 11 PM. They'll have drink specials all night, and I cannot stress this enough - that includes the BAM (Big A** Margarita). Do yourself a favor and have some.

Saturday night is Chief's monthly One Love Saturday featuring DJ Junior Vibes on the 1's and 2's. It's hosted by me, Big Ced from Kiss 103.1! I'll have $20 gift cards to give away, so be sure to look for me. I'm hard to miss in my bow tie!

Saturday's party starts at 9 PM with your favorite Reggae and Hip-Hop. It's just $5 to get in, so come see me and relax after this long week.

Sunday night is the weekly Karaoke Contest in which the winner gets $100. The audience decides the winner, so bring your crew.

Hey, it's been a stressful week for all of us, so I look forward to seeing the My Kiss 1031 family out at Chief's for some rest and relaxation. I know we could all use it.
