This weekend we celebrate Juneteenth, and this will be a special Juneteeth because President Joe Biden just signed a bill establishing the holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States as a federal holiday.

The National Independence Day of Juneteenth will become the 12th legal public holiday, including Inauguration Day. It's the first since Martin Luther King Jr. Day was declared a national holiday by then-President Ronald Reagan in 1983.

Chief's Sports Grill in Killeen will definitely be celebrating this year, and the MyKiss1031 family's all invited.

Kick-off your Juneteenth weekend with our good friends at Chiefs Sports grill! Thursday is the livest karaoke night in town. The party kicks off at 9 pm with DJ junior vibes and Trey the Choklit Jok.

Friday night, it is time for a throwback party featuring DJ Kay Smoove. The party starts at 9 pm with free entry before 11 pm. Come party with us and enjoy all of your favorite throwbacks.

Saturday at 2 pm, Chief's is throwing a Juneteenth Celebration. Come hang out and enjoy some BBQ and drink specials, and there will be a bouncy house for the kiddos.

Saturday night, come hang out with one love crew promotions and Big Ced from My Kiss 103.1. He will have $20 gift cards from Chiefs to giveaway.

DJ Junior vibes will be on the 1's and 2's. $5 entry fee come out and enjoy some reggae, hip hop, and r&b

Then end your Juneteenth weekend with their Sunday night karaoke contest. There is a cash prize for the winner. Hosted by favorite karaoke DJ, DJ vibes. the singing starts at 8 pm.

Juneteenth is definitely a day worth celebrating, and Chief's it looking to do it in style!
