I always have a good time at Chief's on Saturdays. Not only do I get to host along with Dj Kay Smoove on the 1's and 2's, but I get to meet the MyKiss1031 family and share the great time with all of you.

I'm typically there on Saturdays, but I want to go on Thursday or Sunday for their weekly karaoke events.

I will not sing (depending on how much liquid courage I have, anyway), but I definitely want to see everyone else sing their favorite song.

For now, I'll be out at Chief's this Saturday for the Jeans Party!

Here's the weekly lineup at Chief's Sports Bar and Grill. The weekend starts on Thursdays and runs through Sunday at Chief's.

Thursday night, it’s the livest karaoke night in town. You're invited to party with Trey the Choklit Jok and DJ Junior Vibes. It all kicks off at 9 PM, but get there early or reserve your tables or you could be left standing all night.

Friday night, it’s the weekly Friyay party with DJ Kay Smoove starting at 9 pm. Entry is free before 11 PM.

Saturday night, it’s One Love Saturday with DJ Junior Vibes and the One Love Crew. This week they’ll be throwing a Jeans Party. So ladies, pull out your best jeans. Doors open at 9 pm with $5 entry all night. I'll be out there, so be sure to say hi!

Sunday night, it’s the Sunday night Karaoke contest. There's $100 cash prize is on the line (as long as enough people sign up). The audience decides the winner, so make sure ya bring your people.

So there you go - Chiefs weekly lineup is a long weekend of grown-up fun, great drinks, good music, and tasty food.

Whichever night you choose, I guarantee you will have a good time.

Go every night and experience the whole weekend vibe at Chief's Sports Bar and Grill.

The address is 806 Atlas Ave in Killeen.

We will see you there.

Top 20 Restaurants Central Texans Wish Would Come to Temple

Back on April 30, 2021, I asked the good people of Temple if they could picture a good restaurant to fill the lot on North General Bruce Drive where the soon to be torn down Long John Silver's stood.

This was before it was announced that a Dutch Bros. Coffee location would open there (which was one of the places I predicted as a contender in our article).

So now we know what will go in that spot, but the responses to my survey were interesting because they paint a picture of just how diverse Temple's population is. People recommended some familiar restaurants with locations in the surrounding area, but also a few I'd never even heard of.

Here are the top 20 results of the survey. Let's see what the good people of Temple are craving!
