Smuggling Operation Gone Bad: 8 dead, 30 others hospitalized

The Department of Homeland Security is leading an investigation in which 8 people died and 30 other undocumented immigrants were hospitalized after being found in a semi-trailer in hot 100 plus degree Texas weather in a San Antonio Walmart early Sunday morning.

Reportedly, police was called after an employee of Walmart came in contact with a person "asking for water, seeming disoriented" .

Police were called and that's when the victims and driver were discovered.

The driver will face state and federal charges.
