The world is changing, and we could possibly see normalcy soon. Wouldn't that be nice?

On Friday, Walmart and Sam's Club announced that they will no longer require customers and employees to wear a mask if they are completely vaccinated when entering the store beginning May 18th.

If masks are required by state and local laws, you must still wear a mask. Make sure you check your county and city websites to see what mask rules, if any, are in effect.

The chain say's they won't be asking and or checking to make sure customers are fully vaccinated.

Walmart is also offering $75 incentives for employees to get vaccinated.

The announcement came after the CDC updated their latest guidance to say that Americans who've been fully vaccinated can cease wearing a mask and physically distancing, but again, they're not saying you can break any local laws or mandates, and you'll still be subject to any mask requirements at your workplace or at businesses that still have them.

So, if you go to a store and they ask that you mask up, respect their request or, if you simply can't, do your business elsewhere. Don't give the employees a hard time for just doing their jobs. No one needs that.

By the way, you're only considered "fully vaccinated" if it's been 2 weeks since you received your second dose of a 2-dose vaccine like Pfizer or Moderna, or it's been 2 weeks since you receive a single-dose vaccine like Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.

Once you've been vaccinated, make sure you hold on to that vaccination card and keep it safe. You may need it in the future. You can also take a pic of it on your phone just in case. Be sure to get both sides.
