Today is the seventh and final day of Kwanzaa, a 7-day non-religious celebration in African American Ancestral roots.

Kwanzaa means "first fruits of the harvest" in Swahili.

The 7 principles of Kwanzaa were created back in 1966 by Maulana Karenga, a professor of Pan African Studies at California University at Long Beach.

Today is IMANI which means FAITH.

To have faith and believe with all our hearts in our parents, teachers, leaders, and our people and the righteousness and victory of our struggle.
