One Woman In Holland Trying To Find Out Reason For Her Car Stuck At Mechanic For Two Years
A couple in state of Texas are trying to get their car back after a situation resulted in the vehicle needing repairs. But is the car actually fixed? Here's what is known at the time of writing.
What Caused The Situation To Begin?
As revealed by KCEN, Lindsey Russell from Holland, Texas suffered a major issue with her car in December of 2022. The engine on her 2011 white Land Rover blew, leading to a need of maintenance for the car. She chose as business known as Wesko Automotive.
She provided $2,000 for the work on the car to begin. In addition, Wesley Kordes, the owner of the business, said the work would be completed in two months time. But, since then, the work on the car hasn't seemingly even started.

What Did Russell Allegedly See When She Tried To Get An Update On The Repairs?
Per Russell, she went to shop in July of 2024, trying to see what was going on. In her words, she told KCEN that the vehicle wasn't completely put together, and that the tires on the car were nowhere to be seen. Compounding the issue was the fact that Kordes wasn't relaying the status of the repairs and how they were going.
Russell is also still paying for the vehicle that she isn't able to drive. According to KCEN, it is alleged by Russell that $10,000 has paid for the car, but she hasn't driven it for a long time. Various legal attempts have been made to get the car back, but none have succeeded.
Russell told KCEN: “I’m not stopping until somebody does something...This is not right. You don’t do this to people.” A GoFundMe has been setup to help Russell as well. As this is a developing story, we will have more information when it becomes available.
