If you've ever been to San Antonio, you've probably seen an ad for Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks. It's you basic wax statue museum that takes advantage of the amount of people that head to The Alamo when they're in San Antonio. That whole area is now a gigantic tourist trap with a Ripley's Believe It of Not! and The Amazing Mirror Maze.

The wax museum had put up a statue of former president Donald Trump but they had to take it down because people kept punching it. The regional manager of the museum, Clay Stewart said:

When it’s a highly political figure, attacks can be a problem.

After the staff realized that people kept punching and scratching the statue, they moved it to the front where security could keep an eye on it. This didn't prevent visitors from manhandling the statue and ultimately it had to be removed.

This isn't all that odd for a Trump statue. According to Complex:

In fact, wax replicas of Trump haven’t been welcome in other Tussaud museums. In October 2020, Madame Tussaud’s Berlin location got rid of its Trump statue, tossing the replica when it changed its exhibits as a way to condemn his administration’s politics. After Trump lost the 2020 presidential election, the museum’s London branch put its Trump statue in golf attire to signal “his potential 2021 wardrobe.”

It's interesting how the one museum changed his attire to golf because that would be what he's wearing in 2021, but in all honesty, that dude was golfing all the damn time when he was president.
