Texas Couple Receives Wedding Congratulations Letter From The Obamas
Even though Barack and Michelle Obama are no longer in the White House, they are still loved by millions of Americans and one Texas couple received the shock of a lifetime when the powerful couple sent them a letter congratulating them on their recent wedding.
The Washington Post, Texas bride Brooke Allen was shocked to learn that her mom, Liz Whitlow, sent the former first couple an invite to her March wedding back in December. Allen had no idea her mother had done so, until Whitlow shared the letter she had just received back, congratulating the couple.
Brooke's mom also joked via text that she didn't send an invite to current President Donald Trump. Brooke's tweet has gone viral with thousands sending their congratulations to the couple and others sharing their letters of congratulations from The Obamas.
