“Sweetie Pie’s” Tim Norman Pleads Not Guilty In Murder-For-Hire Plot

We told you a few months ago about the shocking news of reality TV star and son of famed "Sweetie Pie's" restaurant owner Robbie Montgomery, Tim Norman, who was arrested on charges that he conspired with a woman in a murder for hire plot that resulted in the death of his nephew.

According to WLBT, Norman appeared in a federal court on Tuesday in St. Louis and plead not guilty to the charges of being a co-conspirator in a murder for hire plot which authorities allege Norman took out a life insurance policy on his nephew Andre Montgomery and had him killed in order to collect $450,000.

Montgomery was shot to death in St. Louis 4 years ago and Norman allegedly took out the policy on his nephew when he was 18 without his knowledge and Norman was named the sole beneficary.

Authorities further allege that Norman conspired with Terrica Ellis in the plot. She also has plead not guilty to the charges and she has been ordered to remain in jail until trial. Norman's insurance agent and former "Nellyville" producer Waiel “Wally” Yaghnam, has also been charged for conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud for providing false information on Andre Montgomery's policy in order to increase the payout.

The judge presiding over the case did not come to a decision on whether or not Norman should be detained until trial but heard arguments from the prosecution that he would be a flight risk and the defense who argued that Norman would stay with his mother Robbie.
