Data Reveals That Multiple Texas Cities Have Been Declared Safest In Nation
One of the things that people want in their life is the feeling of being safe. When one feels safe, everything is easier on the mind of a Texan. Nobody likes feeling anxious after all.
But safety isn't just about one's own mental health. Just walking around in the state and not being worried about someone harming them is also plays a part in a person feeling safe. With so many factors to consider, how does one know if the city they live in is truly secure?
Thankfully, data does exist to see which cities in the nation are safe for all. But, the main question is, which in Texas are considered safe?
Which Cities, If Any, Are The Safest In The Nation From Texas?
Data collected from Money Geek shows the answers. Using four major categories, the data was able to rank cities across the nation. But what where the factors included?
They were as follows:
- Crime Cost per Capita
- Cost of Crime
- Property Crime Rate
- Violent Crime Rate
So, with that known, where were Texas cities ranked? Well for residents in the city of Frisco, they might feel pretty happy with their ranking. Overall, Frisco had $287 in Crime Cost Per Capita, $65,516 in Cost of Crime, 1357 in Property Crime Rate, and 86 in Violent Crime Rate, Frisco landed at number two in the nation for safety.
Any Other Texas Cities In The Top 25?
Which is wonderful for those who live in that city, but are there others? The answer is yes! Pearland, Texas landed at 13th in the nation, and Plano was placed at 19th on the list. Sugar Land, Texas was 20th, with McKinney, Texas at 22nd rounding out the top 25.
Round Rock, Texas just missed out on the top 25, which landed on the list at 26. So let's get more Texas cities higher on the list shall we?
