According to Garden Magazine right now is the perfect time to plant certain vegetables in Texas with less hassle and quick results. Green, leafy vegetables like lettuce, spinach, and kale should be planted now at least before August 15. This will ensure a bounty bountiful and quick harvest for the fall. The weather allows crops to grow easily and still be packed with flavor and nutrients not to mention green leafy foods are superfoods that make us big and strong.
