According to officials, a 19-year-old man from Harker Heights had been spending time with friends at the park when the tragic incident happened. Authorities said the young man reportedly jumped from a cliff into the water but never resurfaced. Those with him immediately recognized something was wrong, and emergency responders were called to the scene.
