H-E-B and UMHB Prove What’s Possible When Local Community Comes First

This was the seventh year that UMHB’s Love CTX event took place. This Christ-centered service event focuses on helping vulnerable families and children in need. More than 300 students participated, helping pack over 20,000 meals and writing heartfelt notes for the Belton Independent School District. This year, the local H-E-B also donated food items and meals totaling approximately $19,000.

Serving With Purpose: UMHB, H-E-B, and One More Child Set a New Standard

This is exactly what it’s all about: the community coming together and making sure we take care of one another. I’m a big believer that this is not just our house; it’s our home. When you get to see young students participating in events like this, it can’t do anything but melt your heart.

Love CTX Is Bringing Central Texas Together Like Never Before

Amy Flores, H-E-B’s Area Community Coordinator, stated that H-E-B is honored and excited to work with UMHB and One More Child to serve the Belton community once again. She went on to say, “As a company committed to Texans helping Texans, we’re proud to work alongside these dedicated students who are making a meaningful difference in the lives of local children and strengthening our community one meal at a time.”People helping people is definitely what it’s all about. In this case, it’s Texans helping Texans, and honestly, I just love to see it!

Or did some hotshot marketing team create that name so you and I would buy the product? Let's see if you can tell the difference between who is real and who was made for marketing purposes only.
