Killeen community in shock after teenager charged in fatal shooting

The city of Killeen was in an uproar after learning that an arrest had been made in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in the 1900 block of Monte Carlo Drive just before Thanksgiving. According to KWTX, the shooting took place at approximately 2:00 a.m.

Killeen teen charged in connection to deadly shooting

Jada Raquel Levy was arrested on December 31 in connection with the shooting, which involved two victims. Officers arrived at the scene and found one woman unconscious and one man conscious inside the residence. Life-saving measures were immediately performed on both victims.

Killeen teenager in custody following fatal shooting investigation

The 26-year-old male victim was transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple with non-life-threatening injuries. He was treated and later released. Unfortunately, the female victim, identified as Tai Lynn Wright, was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:47 a.m. by Justice of the Peace Nicola James.

Investigators stated that the victims were inside their home when Levy allegedly fired shots from outside the residence.
