
Killeen Police Launch Homicide Investigation After 22-Year-Old Shot and Killed
After a shooting that took place Monday night at an apartment complex in Killeen, Texas, a 22-year-old man was killed, and the Killeen Police Department is now investigating, according to KCENT.

Where Does This Story Begin?
Police reported that at approximately 7:42 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of Cunningham Road after receiving a call about a gunshot victim. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man on the front porch suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
What Is The Victim's Name?
The victim was transported to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, where he later died. Justice of the Peace Gregory Johnson pronounced him dead at 8:26 p.m. The victim was identified as Brandon Richards.
According to the Killeen Police Department, the investigation revealed that a 911 caller reported the victim had been shot and that a suspect fled the area. At this time, no suspect information has been released.
