KPD Is Investigating A Shooting That Left Ones Wounded

According to KWTX, the Killeen police have detained an individual to be investigated for a shooting that left two people wounded in the city of Killeen.

Officers were told to report to the 400 block of Atkinson Avenue, and upon the officer's arrival, they noticed that two men were suffering gunshot wounds. One of the individuals had to be airlifted to Baylor Scott and White and is now in critical but stable condition says police officers, and for the second victim, they were transferred to Baylor Scott White by ambulance in stable conditions.

According to KPD, there was a verbal altercation that led to gunfire, and one person is being detained and investigated now, but there is no further information being provided.
