WARNING: Boiling Water Notice In Killeen, Texas
The city of Killeen released a statement notifying residents living At 1510 and 1700 E Stan Schluter Loop, Lions Park will need to be placed on a boiling water notice. There was a main water break, and the crew will have to isolate the water main to repair this area.
WHAT IS HAPPENING?
The water crews will stay at the location until all the repairs are done and the water services are back restored. There will be quality samples the following morning with results being available 24 to 48 hours.
Residents living in the area will need to boil all water before consumption until water sampling results confirm that there is no type of contamination in the water, there will be a public notice issued through the city of Killeen website and the boiling water notice hotline at 254-501-6515. The notice has been lifted.
