Video Surfaces Of Another Buc-ee’s Copycat, This Time In The Country Of Mexico
We've all imitated something we've seen before right? It happens all the time in Texas. We mean, everyone's tried to look like a cowboy once or twice in their life right?
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so they say. However, not every imitation is performed by a person, rather a business could emulate another business. But, what happens when a business almost copies another one's logo and style?
Well, one very specific business that was started in the state of Texas has an imitator. Where is the imitator you ask? Well, none other than Mexico.
What Texas Business Is Being Copied In Mexico?
The business in question is none other than Buc-ee's. Does this situation seems kind of familiar though? Well, it has happened before:
While that one might be a little bit too on the nose, this new one seems to be more of a reference, rather than an almost full copy. In a video posted to Tik Tok, the business, named Luc-ky's, has brought many an eye upon it:
First things first, there's a lot of trucks outside the business that's for sure. Second, where are all the gas pumps? They matched the font Buc-ee's uses, you at least have to have maybe one gas pump right?
Thirdly, according to WFAA, the actual Buc-ee's brand isn't liking what they are seeing when they were asking about it:
"Buc-ee’s has invested heavily in innovation across the company to provide the best quality products and experience for our customers. Buc-ee’s will not be idle spectators while others infringe the intellectual property rights that Buc-ee’s has worked so hard to develop."
So...Luc-ky's might be a thing of the past soon!
