The classic and iconic 70's sitcom "Good Times" is going to be getting the "exciting/feared" reboot treatment with the help of some big Hollywood names and an NBA Champion.

According to Shadow And Act, the show is getting rebooted as an ANIMATED series, with the Evans family dealing with the issues of today.

Good Times is Norman Lear’s first animated series, following the Evans family as they navigate today’s world and contemporary social issues. Just as the original did years ago, Good Times strives to remind us that with the love of our family, we can keep our heads above water. - via Shadow And Act.

NBA Champion Steph Curry is one of the executive producers along with "Good Times" creator Norman Lear, "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane, and Carl Jones. Jones worked on "The Boondocks" and "Black Dynamite", and will serve as creator, showrunner, and executive producer.
