The flooding that affected the state of Texas has still left lasting impacts. Many are still trying to piece together what was lost and resume a normal life. For one business in Copperas Cove, they're holding an event to help raise funds for Hill County Youth Ranch.

G&B Saloon's Efforts To Help With Texas Flood Relief

In a press release from the business, they revealed that they will be holding a fundraising event on August 9th, 2025. The event helps with Hill County Youth Ranch, which, according to their website, assist with "foster care and privately placed children, young adults transitioning into adulthood, and single mothers of any age."

The event will begin at 10 AM on August 9th. There will be multiple things happening on the day as well, which the funds will all go to Hill County Youth Ranch. So what can attendees expect?

Here's What Will Happen At The Event

According to the release, breakfast plates will be offered. In addition to the breakfast plates, BBQ plates will also be on the menu. A dunk tank will be at fundraiser, as well as a silent auction for items that have not been revealed at the time of writing.

Live music performances are also planned, with the artists being Bryan Summers, Every Rose, Max Larry, and Southbound Echos. In addition to that, karaoke will also be happening.

Texas Tragedy: Devastating Images from the Texas Hill Country and Guadalupe River Flooding

A tragedy in Texas in Texas continues to unfold as rescue works continue their search to find victims of the flooding in central Texas. The number of deaths continue to rise and are expected to soar past 100 as more bodies are found and identified. Sadly, at least 28 children have been confirmed dead, many who were attending the all-girls Camp Mystic. Most of the fatalities as of this writing have been reported in Kerr County. One week after the flash flooding hit Kerrville, Texas. President Donald Trump and the First Lady visited to see the devastation for themselves. As of July 11, the death toll is at 120, with another 161 people still reported missing.
