‘Empire’ Soundtrack Projects to Reach No. 1

FOX's new hit drama 'Empire' is not only killing it in the ratings, but now could possibly be a huge hit on the Billboard charts.

If the 'Empire' soundtrack debuts at No. 1 in its first week, it will be the first TV soundtrack to top the charts since 2010's 'Glee, the Musical: Journey to Regionals.'

The 'Empire' soundtrack includes music from Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson, Juicy J, Rita Ora, Charles Hamilton and Estelle.

It will also include original songs from cast members like Terrance Howard, Jussie Smollett, Serayah McNeal and Bryshere "Yazz" Gray.

The official sales tally will be released next Wednesday.
