Copperas Cove Police have made an arrest in an investigation involving a collision that left one man dead.

According to a press release from CCPD's Sgt. Kevin Miller, Police arrested Daniel Christopher Burcham and charged him with Intoxication Manslaughter after witnesses told police that he was one of the drivers involved in a two car collision that lead to the death of Robert Bikoski.

On the evening of July 27th, Copperas Cove Police and Fire responded to a collision on West Business Highway 190 at approximately 6:42 PM where Bikoski was found not breathing at the scene. Bikoski would succumb to those injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.

Witnesses told officers that the driver of the vehicle, Burcham, had fled the scene but was spotted a short time later crossing the street and found his speech slurred and appeared to be under the influence of intoxicants according to the report. Burcham was arrested and later arraigned by Justice Of The Peace Bill Price.

HIs bond has been set at $100,000. CCPD continues to investigate this incident.
