
Austin Community Asked to Help Solve Horrific Hit-and-Run
Police in Austin, Texas are currently seeking an unknown suspect following their actions in an accident that left one person seriously injured. Where did the accident occur, and how did it happen? Here's what is known at the time of writing.
When Did The Accident In Austin Occur?
As reported by KXAN, on the date of June 14th, at 12:05 in the morning, the incident occurred. Taking place at the 8100 block of Research Blvd, a vehicle described as a “silver or gray” truck, with the year of the model placed between 2010 and 2020, hit a 68 year old person.
According to the Austin Police Department, the vehicle in question left the scene without following proper protocol. As stated by The Texas Transportation Code, drivers cannot leave the scene of an accident if someone is seriously harmed in an accident.

What Is The Description Of The Person Austin Police Are Seeking?
KXAN reported that the suspect looks like an "Hispanic male with a medium build, approximately 5 feet and 7 inches tall, with a tattoo on his left hand or arm." They are being sought for a felony, the charge being collision involving injury. People with knowledge of the situation and could help lead to the capture of the suspect have multiple ways to assist.
