I believe there is a special place in hell for people who abuse children, the elderly and animals…and a special place in Heaven for those who help them. Tiny Hooves Rescue and Petting Zoo and the people of Central Texas fall into the latter category.

Since Friday, when Tiny Hooves’ Joel Crenshaw thought to look twice at a discarded animal crate by the road that happened to hold a severely emaciated, mangy puppy…at least one thousand dollars has been raised for the sweet baby’s medical bills.

According to Tiny Hooves Facebook page, the sweet love that they named “Miracle” “ has Demodex mange, secondary infection from no treatment, had an abscess on her head, tons of open wounds, malnourished, dehydrated....She was found right past the blinking light at the fork going to Miller Park from Bucees in Temple, Tx.”

Tiny Hooves posted photos of Miracle the night they found her and have continued to post photos of this sweet girl’s progress. Due to the posts, money was quickly raised for medical bills. She is currently being taken care of at the Belton Veterinary Clinic where doctors say she is extremely lucky to be alive.

The next step for Miracle is finding a Foster family who will love her and help her heal completely. If they are anything like me, they will be “foster fails” and make Miracle a forever part of their home. :)
