
VIDEO: Texas Woman Survives Snowstorms By Sleeping In Couples Dog Crate
According to 11 Alive, during a moment of desperation in the midst of the severe snowstorm and cold weather in Texas, a homeless woman found shelter in an unusual place,a dog crate. To stay warm, Mariah Pena, the homeowner where the homeless woman sought shelter, was startled to find the young lady inside her dog crate.

The homeless woman, who accepted her fate, apologized to both Mariah and her husband and began to leave the premises. Mariah Pena said you could hear the desperation in the young woman’s voice. Not asking to stay, and understanding that she felt this was the best option she had in the middle of the night, left the couple heartbroken.
Although the couple did not feel comfortable allowing the woman to stay in their home with their small child, they did permit her to remain in the dog crate. Even though the dog kennel might not have been the ideal place for her to shelter from the cold, the gesture itself was priceless. It was one of those moments where anything was better than nothing, they said.

The couple stated that early the next morning, the woman had left the home. However, due to the weather still being extremely cold, they expressed a desire to continue assisting her if she needed help. These kinds of acts of kindness cannot go unnoticed.
