Flood Threats Expand Across Central Texas as Rain Intensifies
If you were planning to have some fun in the sun here in Central Texas this weekend, you may need to think again, according to KXAN. Periods of wet weather are expected over the next two days before we see any possibility of dry land.

What Is The Weather Report In Central Texas As Of Right Now?
It’s been a couple of weeks of thunderstorms and spotty rain across Central Texas, and later today, showers and storms are anticipated to gradually increase through the afternoon and into the evening. Even so, temperatures are still expected to heat up later in the day.
What Should Texans Look Forward To This Weekend?
Texans can be relieved to know that severe weather is not expected, no major threats beyond lightning, pockets of heavy rain, and possibly gusty winds. As I always say about Central Texas: if you don’t like the weather, just wait a second, because it changes quicker than Texans change the channels on their TVs. Regardless, everyone should be properly prepared. Make sure you have the proper gear, such as umbrellas, raincoats, and any other weather essentials you feel are necessary.
Stay Prepared For The Weekend Weather In Central Texas
It’s still up in the air, but there is a possibility that storms could linger overnight into Saturday. If storms do develop, they should clear out fairly quickly afterward. Still, better safe than sorry, Texas.
