There's nothing hotter than a Texas summer, and if you're ready to beat the heat, check out this Texas waterpark that's re-opening.

According to Big Rivers Waterpark, the attraction in Houston, Texas will be re-opening at 10:30 AM on Saturday, May 23. The park is also offering a May special, and all daily admission passes will be available for purchase for only $20.20.

In a Facebook live video, CEO Monty Galland stated that the park's maximum occupancy is approximately 12,000 people, but the park will be limiting attendance to under 25%. The park will only admit 2,020 people inside to protect guests and employees.

Staff who are in close contact with guests will be wearing a face mask, and sanitation stations will be placed throughout the park. Guests are currently not required to wear masks.

The park has a variety of water-slides, and also offers other attractions like:

  • zip-lining
  • a 70' freefall tower
  • cane fishing
  • petting zoo
