
Texas Elementary Teacher Charged Following Alleged Use Of AI To Make Pornography Of Students
A teacher in the state of Texas is now facing charges following the discovery of child pornography on a personal devices they owned. Here's what is known at the time of writing.
What First Caused The Arrest Of Carl Innmon In Texas?
According to KVUE, the situation began on March 11, 2025. The Texas Department of Public Safety had informed Baranoff Elementary School that inquires had begun about Carl Innmon, a educator at the school. Following that revelation, the school placed Innmon under administrative leave at once.
The evidence against Innmon traced back to 2023. It was purported that Innmon was in control of a computer that was taking part in the distribution of child pornography. Dec. 29, 2024, and Jan. 15, 2025, per an affidavit obtained by KVUE, was the timeframe where a total of 126 images were downloaded from the computer in question alleged to be owned by Innmon.

Following the police obtaining a search warrant, officers found more illicit material at Innmon's home, and he reportedly told law enforcement he did indeed download the previously mentioned material. Now, there are even further charges against Innmon.
What Are The Other Charges Against Innmon?
As revealed by KXAN, Innmon is alleged to used artificial intelligence, or AI, to make child pornography of students at the school he taught at. A full search of his items revealed a total of over 365,000 illicit images of children.
Overall, here are all the charges he faces:
- possession of child pornography
- possession of child pornography with intent to promote
- possession or promotion of lewd visual material depicting a child
