Japan Is Beginning To Have A Bit Of Texas Flair Added To The Country
We've all seen something Texas related in another part of the United States right? Whether it be a big Texas flag flying, or a dish that reminds us of Texas. There's reminders all over the nation of the Lone Star State.
But what happens when we're overseas and see something Texas related? It's somewhat shocking isn't it? Though it is a nice reminder of home too. But where would one have a chance to see something that brings thoughts of the Lone Star State?
As it turns out, the Country Of Japan is feeling some type of way about Texas. But what happened that led to this happening?
How Did The Country Of Japan Get A Little More Texas Flair?
For further proof to see how Texas has affected the world as a whole, look no further than this video from the 2020 Olympics. Yes, that is indeed a Texas themed bar in Japan. But there's much to it than just a bar with a Texas touch.
Greg Abbott, Governor of Texas, even traveled to the country recently:
According to Axios Dallas, there are plenty of factors involved in the growth, One big one helping the cause is Texans visiting the Land of the Rising Sun. Flying between the two is very high currently.
In addition, Texans, when they visit Japan, are helping with the wallets and spending money while vacationing there. Yes, that does include food inspired by Texas being available in Japan.
So it looks like Japan and Texas have somewhat become best friends. That's pretty neat isn't it?
