Texas Girl, 9, Fatally Injured in Car Crash
Our heart goes out to a family in North Texas who lost a young girl in a fatal traffic collision early Sunday morning.
Our news partners at Channel 10 shared the story from KXII-TV, which reported that a family of five were driving along US Highway 75 around 3 AM Sunday when their vehicle left the road and crashed into a bridge pillar.
9-year-old R'Niyah Williams passed away at the scene of the crash.
R'Niyah's pregnant mother, Deshaela Watson, and a 4-year-old child are currently in an intensive care unit. Adult passenger Jarrell Moore and a 6-month-old child were also being treated for serious injuries.
The case of the crash remained under investigation Wednesday.
If you're so inclined, please pray for this family as they deal with the tragic loss of a child and a mother and child in the ICU. Hug your family tight, and be careful out there.
