Talk about it Tuesday with Big Ced

You know what time it is: It's "Talk about it Tuesday," a weekly segment I do during my show.

This week is filled with giveaways. I usually don't get this many, and I'm overly excited cause that means that you have an extra incentive to listen during my show Monday through Friday, Noon to 3 pm.

I graduated from an HBCU, which means Historically Black College/University in Austin by Huston-Tillotson University. Even though we don't have a football team, we have the HBCU feel. I have been to the state fair classic many times. We go for the game, but we don't move from our seats because of the halftime show. The Prairie View A&M marching panthers Band vs. the world-famous Grambling State marching Tigers band will definitely be a highlight. I have some friends that are alumni of the band. The Killeen winter carnival is going now through March 7th at the Killeen special events center on South W.S. Young Drive; it been a while since I've been to a carnival, I remember the rides and the food was my high point, I had a winner on Monday tell she met her husband so I can see how going to the carnival is nostalgic.
