The ladies of Salt-N-Pepa as you know was one of the first all female rap groups when they formed in 1985 and The Clark Sisters were known as one of the first superstar gospel groups that brought gospel to the mainstream. Now BOTH of their stories are getting ready to be told in separate, upcoming miniseries.

According to Forbes, the Lifetime network has green lighted production on 2 miniseries, "Salt-N-Pepa" will dive into Cheryl “Salt” James and Sandra “Pepa" Denton’s journey into the hip hop scene.
