You should never run from the police. Odds are very high that you'll not get away. Then, when you either crash or stop on your own, the police a little jacked up. This is the time you don't want to make any sudden moves.

KWTX is reporting that a person was injured near Elms Road in Killeen on Thursday afternoon. It happened at the intersection of South Fort Hood Street, and it involved an officer shooting his weapon.

It seems the officers were involved in a pursuit that ended at the intersection.

At this time there has been no reason given for the officers firing their weapons.

A person was transported via helicopter to Baylor Scott & White in Temple.

The Texas Rangers will be handling the investigation.
