Temple Neighbors Speak Out as Major Construction Hits New Delays
According to KCEN News, a road project in Temple, Texas, has been delayed numerous times, and residents are growing increasingly impatient with the lack of progress. Construction is underway near Moores Mill Road, affecting several homes in the area. The project was originally expected to be completed by October 2025; however, little progress has been made so far.

When Will The Roads Be Completed?
Residents were recently told, according to KCEN, that the road should now be completed by the spring of this year. With spring just around the corner, many are questioning whether that deadline will actually be met. According to the city, the completion date has been pushed back several times for various reasons.
What Was Is The Point Of The Improvement Of The Roads?
The project, part of Outer Loop 363 in North Temple, aims to improve mobility on the west side of the city. Plans include expanding the road from Tulane County Road into a four-lane roadway with sidewalks, bike paths, drainage improvements, and an elevated bridge over the railroad tracks.
For residents living nearby, the impact has been difficult to ignore. Mud and construction debris are coating cars and homes, and some carriers have trouble accessing properties. Homeowners say there have been years of limited communication from the city regarding the project and its funding. With March quickly approaching, residents are left wondering: Will the roads in Temple finally be completed by spring, or will there be yet another delay?
