Do you remember when McDonald's took fan favorite Hi-C Orange Lavaburst off of their  menu? its been 4 years since then, and they've finally listened to the people and brought it back.

To be honest, I didn't know it was missing, but it was one my favorite drinks to get in the drive-thru besides Sprite.

According to the Huffington Post, McDonald's pulled the favorite drink back in May of 2017 and replaced it with the Sprite Tropic Berry soda. Countless customers were not pleased with the switch. and many were quite vocal about it. People had a real passion for a fast food drink, huh?

Well, the good news is that Hi-C Orange Lavaburst is coming back. In fact, McDonald's has created a website for you to track which locations have it starting Monday, February 15.

Hi-C Orange will begin rolling out at select McDonalds restaurants starting this month and will be available as a regular soft drink option at all participating locations nationwide by this June. And if you just can't take the anticipation, starting on Monday, February 15th, you can drop your zip code into mcdfinder.com to find the closest McDonalds location that has Hi-C available. The tracker will be updated weekly as more restaurants add the drink back to their roster.

Here's hoping Central Texas gets it early!

In a tweet, McDonald's VP of Marketing, in response to a "presentation" by an enthusiastic employee, apparently stated " Nice presentation. Hi-C Orange Lavaburst will officially come back on the menu at all U.S. restaurants by this summer 2021. Please stop emailing me about this now."

Thanks to the faithful (and apparently thirsty) consumers of the popular drink, we will be able to order it at a McDonalds drive thru near us - hopefully sooner than later.

Are you semi-excited as I am of the Hi-C Orange drink making a return? Let us know what you think in the comments, and drink up!
