
Man Arrested in Death of Injured Child In Killeen, Texas
Joshua Rashad Hurndon, a man from Killeen, Texas, has been arrested on charges related to the injury of a child. Unfortunately, a four-year-old boy died after being found with a fractured skull, according to FOX 44 News. On Thursday, Joshua was booked into the Bell County Jail by Texas Department of Safety troopers from Waco, who apprehended him and transported him back to the Killeen Police Department due to a warrant.

Arrest Made in Death of Injured Child
On October 20, 2022, at approximately 11:08 AM, four-year-old was transported to a hospital while unresponsive. Unfortunately, he died later that day, and an autopsy was immediately conducted. According to an affidavit, the injuries were severe enough to fracture the boy's skull and cause durable hemorrhage.
Injury Leads to Child's Death; Man Charged
Though Joshua stated that the child appeared sick earlier that morning, he later gave him an orange to eat. He claimed he heard loud noises coming from the child’s bedroom at one point but did not check on him at the time. While Joshua acknowledged that the injury occurred, he maintains his innocence.
Currently, Hurndon is being held in the Bell County Jail, and his bond is set at $125,000.
