A post that threatened Roy J. Smith Middle School on Thursday, May 15, has been determined to be non-credible, according to KWTX. The post was immediately reported to law enforcement and district officials, according to interim principal Dr. Bobbie Reeders.

Once reported, appropriate actions were taken to ensure that all students and staff at Killeen Middle School were informed. Dr. Reeders stated, “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who came forward with information. Your willingness to speak up plays a critical role in keeping our campus safe.”
