The importance of honoring those who have served is more important now than ever in current climate of politics in this country. Let's put our differences to the side for at least one day and give thanks to the men and women who fight for the rights that make our nation great!

The City of Killeen will host its Community Veterans Day Parade November 11 beginning at 11 a.m. The parade will march through Downtown Killeen and this year,  Retired Lieutenant Colonel Pat Christ and Retired Colonel Raul Villaronga will serve as co-grand marshals.

The parade route will begin at the intersection of College Street and Avenue D and will travel east to 8th Street, north to Sprott Street, west to Gray Street and south to Avenue C. Spectators should arrive early to avoid traffic and secure a viewing spot.
