Taylor Swift Forgot One Texas Stadium On Her Upcoming 2023 Eras Tour
Taylor Swift is going to making her rounds back on the road, giving fans a 27-stop US stadium tour. She will be announcing her international tour dates later on. Texas makes the cut on the tour list, but one stadium has notably been left off. Wonder if the Swifties can do something about that?
Fort Hood Stadium, Duh!
One Stadium in Texas that is not on the tour schedule yet (wink wink) is Fort Hood Stadium. Taylor clearly has a sweet spot for military spouses, and our servicemen and women. Do you remember the video she came out with for her song Ours? Not, gonna lie - as a military spouse I still get choked up watching that video. She's even surprised a fan who's married to a military servicemember on the Ellen Show. Remember that?
Tays Texas Stops On The Tour
Although there are no signs of Taylor adding a surprise tour date to Fort Hood, Texas, she is scheduled to perform in Arlington,TX back-to-back on the 1st and 2nd of April, at the AT&T Stadium. Then, after a stop in Florida, she will make her way to Houston, Texas to perform at the NRG Stadium April 22nd.
What About Austin?
Another Texas tour stop noticeably absent from the list of tour dates is the Circuit of the Americas in Austin. Tay's performed there in the past, so why not this tour? Maybe that will change, but for now, Central Texans will have a long drive north or southeast if they want to see her live.
Line It Up
Beeabadoobe and Gracie Abrams are lined up to open all three shows here in Texas. The announcement came this morning on Good Morning America. Check out the tweet below. Taylor said she will be highlighting the musical era of her career. Her new album Midnights just dropped October 21.
