I just want to take a moment to talk about a friend of mine who I feel does a great job serving the Central Texas community.

Gregory Johnson, a Waco native, was raised by his single mother who, from an early age, taught him that he would need to work hard in life. There’s a lot that can be said about this man now that he's grown. He’s not only the Justice of the Peace for Precinct 4, Place 1, but a genuinely nice guy (who happens to have a really cool bowtie).

If you haven't had the pleasure of speaking with him, you should definitely make it a goal to do so this year. I like to say the two of us go way back. Really, we go back to when I was doing a little internet radio show and he was running for City Council.

The man was quite busy - like, extremely busy - but he made time to stop by to give us some honest answers and amazing advice.
Gregory thought it was important for the community to hear his voice and know that he hears theirs as well.
Full disclosure: I vote for him when he rain for City Council, as did my family. I also voted for him during his run for JP. When he runs for President of the United States someday (fingers crossed), I'll vote for him again.
My M.P.M this Monday definitely goes to Gregory Johnson - just a fly guy in a bowtie trying to make Central Texas a better place!

Shopping for a Texan can be difficult. It's a scientific fact that Texans have refined taste and a cheap trinket will not do. One way to ensure a great gift is to buy something that says "Texas" loud and proud.
