(Killeen, Texas) - Bell County is doing it again, and this time, being cheap isn't a bad thing. According to AAA, Texas has the cheapest gas prices in the country, with the state-wide average price of $2.97 per gallon.

Finally Some Relief At The Pump

Millions of Texans, myself included, are planning to hit the highway for Thanksgiving. Did you know Texas drivers are seeing the cheapest gas prices we’ve seen since January? That's a long time to contend with high gas prices considering all of the driving many Texans do on a daily basis. Although I feel like the year just started, we are pretty much near the end of it.

Would you say sinking oil prices the cause of this? Word on the street, West Texas Intermediate crude oil is selling for less than $82 a barrel. This hasn’t been the case since January as well. What do you think?

Get In Line

Everybody has seen some crazy numbers at the pump this year. Over $6 in some places. Not as high anymore, as the nationwide average has come down to $3.64 per gallon. The statewide average has fallen below $3 and drivers are pumping it up, you hear me?

Turkey Time Fill Up

4 million Texans are planning to travel at least 50 miles away from home this Thanksgiving weekend. 3.6 million will be on the roads. According to AAA, you will be able to find the most expensive of the cheapest gas in College Station-Bryan, TX at $3.07 per gallon. The most cheapest in Texas will be in McAllen-Ebensburg at $2.77. Bell and Coryell county are coming in at $2.92 and $2.94. Excuse me while I go fill my tank up before they go back up lol. K-Lew out!
