This species is found in a tropical climate and is usually fond of conditions in very damp or humid areas, and as of right now, experts are saying this creature is in full force.

These are not your everyday worms that you’ve just gone fishing with these poisonous critters can grow anywhere from 12 to 15 inches in size and secretes a toxin that irritates if it is touched. The poisonous hammerhead worm can also be fatal to your pets if it is ingested not to mention, they are known to carry other disgusting parasites. If you happen to see the creepy cretin do not think killing it could be a walk in the park. Even cutting the poisonous worm in half only allows it to recover fully and can also double in size that’s right if you chop the worm in half now we have two worms.

Experts recommend if you encounter the worm place it in a plastic bag with salt and vinegar or citrus oil, and even possibly place them in the freeze overnight. You should never handle any of these poisonous worms without proper protection, including gloves, even if it’s dead you need to wear gloves. If you happen to touch the dangerous worm without any protection immediately use soap and water, followed by hand sanitizer to prevent the chances of any type of skin irritation. If your pets consumed the worm, you need to contact a veterinarian immediately. These are not just regular worms in Texas. They are dangerous and fatal.
