It's almost time in Texas for the ghost and goblins to come out, haunted houses to scare the paints off of you, and the smell of pumpkin spice to fill the air - and to top it all off, my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving, is right around the corner.

Does anyone else feel like the fall season in Texas is a little different than other places? We don't get the chilly weather that other states do, and with few exceptions, most areas don't get colorful leaves. Ours just turn brown almost overnight. Still, it's a great season for cooler temps, comfy clothes, warm drinks, and visits to the pumpkin patch. I always feel excited about welcoming this lovely season.
