Elm Mott Factory Goes Up In Flames Friday Morning

Cooler temperatures in Central Texas greeted multiple firefighters who got up before 4 a.m. to respond to a call from a factory in Elm Mott this morning.

Firefighters had a real mess to tend to at the Miles Gin Supply in Elm Mott off of Old Dallas Road. Reports say the fire was under control by 9 a.m. this morning according to News 10 KWTX.

The gusty winds made the fire very difficult to bring under control as 4 different crews made their way to the scene of the fire to help battle the blaze. Thankfully, there are no injuries reported at the scene. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Miles Gin Supply works with farm equipment and is a privately owned establishment.
