You know the old Texas Tourism tag line "It's Like A Whole 'Nother Country"? Well I always say "Texas: Its Like A Whole 'Nother CONTINENT". We usually experience just about everything in Texas but Earthquakes is something that RARELY happens but when it does, it makes headlines.
According to KXAN, residents near the small Texas town of Nixon, felt an earthquake early Tuesday morning at about 5:52 AM. The U.S. Geological Survey reported that the quake registered a 3.1 magnitude on the Richter Scale with its depth reaching about 3.1 miles.
