Best Damn Thing I Ate In Central Texas: Hurricane Soul Food

I'm sure you've stopped by the Killeen Food Park by now and there's lots of great and different food options there and I wanted to make sure I stopped by and checked out another one of the food trucks there after "Yeah She Rollin" Food Truck earned "Best Damn Thing" Honors before.

In the corner of the Food Park lot, you'll notice a brightly colored truck that's serving up some amazing and wild combinations of soul food called "Hurricane Soul Food". Their top seller is their delicious pineapple bowls which comes in a variety of options from seafood to BBQ.

I had the BBQ Brisket Pineapple bowl and the combo of sweet and tangy BBQ sauce, tender brisket over a rice and a mixed in few chunks of pineapple was a palate overload that I truly enjoyed.

If you get a chance this weekend, stop by and check them out inside the Killeen Food Park on Fort Hood Street but you'll definitely want to get there quickly because I hear they sell out pretty fast!
