Beltonian Theatre Is Reopening In 2026 With New Owners
It is super exciting to announce that the Beltonian Theatre in downtown Belton will be entering a new chapter and is set to reopen in 2026, according to KWTX.

Like many Central Texans, I can only imagine how excited the community is. The 102-year-old theater had previously announced its closing, but things are now changing. New owners will be taking over the Belton staple and are committed to preserving the tradition and memories this venue has created for thousands of Texans right here in Belton.
Will There Be Any Changes Made?
KWTX reports that Zachariah Baker, the previous owner, stated the theater will remain a small business and continue to be operated in much the same way. It will offer rentals for private events and meeting spaces, as well as continue promoting the arts.

My favorite thing to do during the holidays is head over to this theater in my pajamas and watch Christmas movies. Going almost two years without that tradition truly hurt my heart and didn’t make the holidays feel the same. Knowing it’s coming back is such great news.
I don’t know about you, Central Texas, but I’ve got my popcorn ready. Welcome back, Belton. We missed you.
